 Dr. Castillo is an alumni of the University of the Pacific dental school in San Francisco. She completed a General Practice Residency at the University of Miami/VA Medical Center in Florida. She has 21 years of experience as a general dentist. Dr. Castillo is committed to continuing education and has studied aesthetic dentistry with the UCLA Aesthetic Continuum, Spear Institute and American Academy of Cosmetic Dentistry. For 19 years she has served underprivileged children at the Children’s Dental Health Clinic in Long Beach and is presently a member of their Board of Directors. She is currently a member of the American Dental Association, California Dental Association, Western-Los Angeles Dental Association, and American Academy of Cosmetic Dentistry. Dr. Castillo participates in a volunteer program, "Give Back a Smile," that provides dental treatment to survivors of domestic violence. She strives to create a patient relationship based on trust and care. She is dedicated to perfecting the smiles and enriching the lives of all her patients. Dr. Castillo enjoys living in Manhattan Beach with her two children and husband, Rick. They are involved in sports, music and education. |
